On May 19, Plains All American Pipeline became aware of a crude oil release from its 24-inch pipeline – Line 901 – from Las Flores to Gaviota, located in Santa Barbara County, Calif. The released crude reached a culvert that leads to the Pacific Ocean and, as a result, impacted ocean water and the shoreline.
