On May 19, Plains All American Pipeline became aware of a crude oil release from its 24-inch pipeline - Line 901 - from Las Flores to Gaviota, located in Santa Barbara County, Calif. From the day of the incident, there has been an unified effort from federal, state and local officials along with Plains to mitigate the impact of the release on the environment and the community.
